Keith James Polster, age 66, of Theresa, Wisconsin, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 31, 2023, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
A memorial service for Keith will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Theresa, Wisconsin with Rev. Jon Learman officiating. Visitation for Keith will be held at church on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
Keith was born the son of James and Eulalia (Mueller) Polster on June 29, 1957, in Hustisford, WI. Keith graduated from Lomira High School. He was united in marriage to Susan Ostrander on June 5, 1981, in West Bend. Keith was a member of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Theresa.
Keith enjoyed working in a variety of different careers throughout his life. He worked for many years and retired from MEC as a metal finisher. Keith was a member of the Sons of American Legion Theresa Post #270 and the Theresa Historical Society.
Keith had a great sense of humor and was making people laugh even up until his final days. Keith had a great love for role playing games and was a member of the Epic Gamers Guild. He enjoyed painting figures for his role playing games. Keith was a true Wisconsinite and loved cheering on all the Wisconsin sports teams.
Keith will be missed by his loving wife, Sue; their children: Matthew (fiancée Jacqueline Fuller) Polster, Jason Polster, and Zachary Polster; 4 grandchildren: Joshua, Anthony, Jordon, and Jasmine; his mother: Eulalia “Micki” Polster; siblings: Michael (Stacey Dugan) Polster, Dawn Liesener, James Polster, and Todd Polster; siblings-in-law: Nancy Nehrbass, Janet Zingsheim, Karen (Dave) Jungmann, and William (Tracy) Ostrander. Keith is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, James; son, Joshua; his mother and father-in-law, Leslie and Eleanore Ostrander; brothers-in-law: Jerry Nehrbass and William Zingsheim; and uncle: Silver Polster.
