Kevin Daniel Nelson Jr., passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at his home in Mayville.
Kevin will be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him, with no formal service planned.
Kevin was born on June 15, 1990, to Kevin Nelson Sr. and Tammy Baker. He was united in marriage to Cierra Metz on April 20, 2024, in Las Vegas and traveled to the Virgin Islands for their honeymoon. Kevin was a hard worker and took pride in being a Master CNC Technician at Signicast.
Kevin had a playful spirit and a love for life’s simple joys. Whether he was lining up the perfect shot on the mini golf course in the Dells or strumming his guitar, he found happiness in the moments that brought people together. Music was one of his greatest passions and he was a talented singer.
Kevin was known for his quick wit and unforgettable sense of humor. He was an entertainer and had a gift for making others laugh. He never missed an opportunity to tell a joke, share a funny story, or tease the ones he loved. His laughter was genuine and his smile could light up a room.
Above all, Kevin cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He adored his niece and nephews and was so proud to be their uncle. Kevin created memories that will live on in the stories retold, the songs played in his honor, and the echo of the laughter he leaves behind.
Kevin is deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife Cierra; his parents: Kevin (Danielle) Nelson Sr. and Tammy (Wayne) Baker; his parents-in-law: Jeremy (Jodi) Metz; his siblings: Alex Alfaro, Kayla Alfaro, Jacob Nelson, and Katherine (Timothy) Barthel de Barrientos; and his grandmas Anita Walters and Marlyn Nelson. He is further survived by his niece, nephews, other dear relatives, and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandpa Jake Welch.
