Kevin G. Dauss

Kevin G. Dauss age 57 of Hubertus WI, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 9. He was beloved by so many for his kind and generous nature.

A memorial service for Kevin will take place on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church) in the Town of Theresa with Rev. Douglas Zahner officiating. A visitation for Kevin will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at church from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. There will be a gathering afterwards at The Meating Place at the Mayville Golf Course.

A celebration of Kevin’s life near his home on Friess Lake will be held at a later date.

Kevin was born the son of Ronald H. and Mary Jane (Schinker) Dauss on May 31, 1966. On January 11, 2003, he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Linda (Christian) Dauss.

Kevin had a great love of music and playing guitar. As an avid Harley rider, he enjoyed riding with his wife and attending many Harley Davidson festivals and events. Some of his favorite activities were spent in nature including fishing, snowmobiling and bird watching in his backyard by the Friess Lake channel. He loved animals, especially his cherished dog Zoey.

Kevin graduated from Hartford High School and went on to complete several technical certifications in welding, which he used throughout his career as an advanced welder.

Kevin will be deeply missed by his wife Linda; stepson, Jason Schneider (Kylli Paavola); mother, Mary Jane Dauss; sister, Shelly (Donald) Nighbor; and many other family and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Ronald and stepson, Corey Schneider.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church and School or the Washington County Humane Society.
