Lavernia Ruhland, age 95, passed away peacefully at Clearview on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
A graveside committal service will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in LeRoy. A memorial service will be held at Clearview in the Activity Room in Juneau on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
Lavernia was born the daughter of Herman and Regina (Beisbier) Ruhland in the town of Leroy, Wisconsin. Lavernia called Clearview her home for over 65 years where she enjoyed many outings, activities and workshops with her resident friends and staff.
Lavernia is survived by her nieces and nephews and the caring staff at Clearview.
Lavernia was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters Dolores Ruhland and Anita Froemming, and one brother Marvin Ruhland.
A special thank you to Commonheart Hospice along with the Clearview staff for caring for Lavernia during her final days with us, especially Lori Roeder.
