I met Leni when we worked the summer of 1970 at Westwood School in Johnstown, Pa I meet Hope there when Leni mentioned to me she wanted Hope to see another income side. Later we both worked for Mr Stephanik at Title I. We shared an office upstairs in the former Hudson School building. She was very smart I didn't realize it at the time, but Leni was the best mentor when I started my career in social work. Now that I am in my seventies, I wish I had valued more of her mentorship. (although being a mentor, wasn't mentioned at the time). She was also blunt. I remember her saying when we were talking about hairdo's she said that person gets her color from a bottle! Once she bought in, within a glass case, (I think they were apple turnovers), to send to Eric. I asked her how is he going to open that? She said that's for him to figure out! Another time she brought a lined wool pair of pants for Jimmy, as she called him. The workmanship was perfect! Another time at her home, Adrian was leaving, going to Philadelphia. She had a loose button on her coat. Leni saw that and took the coat upstairs to fix the button right then and there. I visited your house once, saw in the entranceway, in front of the secondary door, a table with three squared items expertly filled by flowers. Thought she did them I pass by the former house, and when speaking about it, I always called it Leni's home. Please know Leni made a difference then in my young life. I remember her with fondness.

I remember Lennie being a good neighbor to my mother-in law Rose Antosch. I always enjoyed talking to Lennie when I visited. She was a fine lady in every sense of the word. We remember how much she loved that little pooch! Peace beyond the grief for you Eric and Patsy.
