Lillian C. Tillema Lepple, 95, of Beaver Dam passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019. Lillian was born on March 22, 1924 in Ontonagon, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Myrtle (Doverspike) Weisinger. Lillian was united in marriage to G. Earl Tillema on September 22, 1945; he passed away on October 7, 1988. On April 14, 1990, she was married to Robert H. Lepple; and he passed away on January 24, 2011. Lillian was a graduate of Ontonagon High School. After Lillian raised her family, she was employed for 17 years at Johnson Controls as an electronic parts inspector. Lillian was a member of Trinity Church United Methodist. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and especially gardening. Lillian was an exceptional baker and cook. She ensured no one ever left her house hungry. Lillian is survived by her children: Chuck (Mary) Tillema of Greenfield and Joyce (Bryan) Yonke of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; her step children: Joel (Jean) Lepple and Phyllis (Keith) Bruns both of Beaver Dam; 4 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, first and second husbands, her son Norman, daughter-in-law Gertrude and her eleven brothers and sisters. Funeral services for Lillian will be held at Trinity Church United Methodist, 308 Oneida Street Beaver Dam, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation prior from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Memorials to Trinity Church United Methodist or Hillside Manor would be appreciated. A special thank you to the staff at Hillside Manor for your compassionate care.
