Lois A. Arndt, age 75, of Horicon, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Mayville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

In accordance with Lois” wishes, there will be no services.

The former Lois Anne Thorson was born on July 30, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Glenn and Loraine (Barkow) Thorson. She lived in Milwaukee until moving to the Theresa and Horicon area, where she has lived the past 36 years. Lois was a kind-hearted and generous woman who cared for and helped many people throughout her life. A loving mother and grandmother, Lois will be missed by all who knew her.

Lois is survived by her son, Steven Arndt (Lisa Stephan) of Horicon, a grandson, Blake Arndt of Horicon, her cousin, Jean Barkow of Milwaukee/Florida and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Arndt and a cousin, Joan Latham.

Thanks for all the tractor rides and talks we had around the farm when I was a young boy. I'm glad we got to visit a few months back at the house, even though it was short, I will always remember it. Your soft spoken voice and great friendship will be deeply missed. Until we meet again.
