I was saddened to read of Aunt Lorraine's passing. I am grateful to have had a visit with her in late Spring before moving to Tucson. While we are saddened by her passing, we can rejoice that she is now in heaven with our Lord.
I have many fond memories of Lorraine. She was a great cook. While growing up, I spent some time on the farm during the summer. Saturday was always baking day. I remember how the aroma of baked sweet rolls and bread filled that farmhouse. I also remember her delicious cherry soup.
But most of all, I remember how important it was for her to serve her Lord at church. She set a wonderful example for all of us.
I extend my heartfelt sympathy and ask God to comfort you at this time.

I extend my sympathy to you and your family. I was Lorraine's Hospice volunteer. God must have brought us together, as I see by her obituary, that we are both WELS. She is home now with Jesus and singing with angels! To God be the Glory!!
