Services: Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Old St. Killian’s Catholic Cemetery in Hartford, Wisconsin with the Rev. Father David La Plante officiating.
Visitation: Friends and family may call at the time of service at Old St. Killian’s Catholic Cemetery in Hartford.
Lorraine V. Dietenberger, 94, of Beaver Dam and most recently a resident of Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Lorraine was born the daughter of Thomas and Zola (Marquardt) Howley on October 12, 1915 in Deer River, MN. She was married to Joseph Dietenberger on October 12, 1937 in Hartford, WI.
Lorraine had been employed at the Weyenberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam for over 30 years. Later, she had worked for 17 years at the Cheeseman in Sun Prairie.
She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. In her younger days, Lorraine enjoyed traveling in her motor home.
She is survived by her children: Jerome (Bev) Dietenberger of Horicon, Jim (Janet) Dietenberger of Beaver Dam and Jean (Vern) Franke of Juneau; four grandchildren: Jeff (Crystal) Dietenberger of Beaver Dam, Julie (Mark) Beske of Hartford, WI, David Miller of Hartford, WI, and Michael (Cheri) Miller of Waupun; and two great grandchildren; her sister, Evelyn Baaske of Randolph; sister-in-law, Cleo Dietenberger of West Bend and two half brothers: Leonard Umland of Beaver Dam and Lester Umland of Watertown. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph in 1967 and her two sisters.
