Lucille C. Nowak, age 101, died Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Randolph Health Services.
Visitation for Lucille will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 6:00 p.m. There will also be a visitation on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Will Arnold officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery.
Lucille Clara was born on March 16, 1925, to Bernard A. and Anna (Flasch) Metzger. On May 4, 1950, she was united in marriage with John L. Nowak at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman. In her younger years, Lucille loved to dance, which is how she met her husband. She was dedicated to both her family and her church throughout her life.
Survivors include her five children, Rita Nowak of Beaver Dam, Michele Nowak of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Daniel Nowak of Beaver Dam, Noreen (Tim) Rhoades of Seattle, WA, and William Nowak of Beaver Dam; two grandchildren, Amelia Buchanan (Febien Ancelin) of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and Victor Buchanan of British Columbia, Canada; a great grandson, Leo Ancelin; her many friends at Randolph Health Care Services, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, other relatives and friends. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son-in-law, Lloyd Buchanan; three brothers and five sisters.
If desired, memorials may be made in Lucille C. Nowak’s name to St. Katharine Drexel Parish.
