Dear Krauses - the world has lost a great lady with your mother's passing. My sincere condolences. She had the most beautiful smile, particularly when teasing with (or being teased by!) Ed or her children. Cherish her in your memories and speak of her often!
Your Mom was a very special lady to Jane and I, just as your Dad was to me. Had many good BS sessions with the Church Ladies, who were gracious enough to include me. She will be remembered by us. Blessings to all the family.
Your mom spoke with great love and pride for each one of you. Your dad taught me how to drive and became a good friend. My fond memories of both of your parents go way back to 1967 as I would stop to talk with them on my way home after school. I admired your mom for the care she gave her family.
We remember your mother so well. She and I used to sing in the Choir together and always such a gentle and genuine lady. Our sympathy to you and your family.
Love and sympathy to all my cousins. It was wonderful to visit with your mom at the Cousins' Reunion. I so enjoyed my time with her. I always thought she was such a special lady. What a great infectious laugh and smile she presented. Just by talking with her a person could tell how proud she was of every one of her kids. She was such a busy lady always. You are all remembered in my prayers. We can be assured your mom is celebrating with the rest of the family right now. Bet my dad is grinning having his little sister with him again. A big hug to each and every one of you. We might be far in distance but not in thoughts.
Our deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. She was a wonderful woman with a beautiful family. We have many fond memories of time spent with y'all at the family home on Grove St. We feel priviledged to have known her and all of you. What a great legacy she has left! -Ann Salzman (Cadiz, KY) Sara Salzman (Dallas, TX) Jake Salzman (Houston, TX)
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. - Dick, Kris, Morgan and Miya Leistekow. neighbors on Grove Street.
I remember what a wonderful woman Lucille was. She had a great sense of humor and definitely passed that along to the whole family. May God bless her and keep her close. Melanie and Scott.
Sending love, light, and my deepest sympathies to the Krause family. I have many great memories from my childhood of Lucy. I can remember picking berries, sitting on the front steps of the Krause front porch to talk, and in my teens, Lucy was my confirmation sponsor. She reminded me in many ways of my grandmother- she was a spiritual and generous person who loved her family very much. I feel better having known her.
Love and condolences to the Krause family from the Fred Parfrey family. I remember Ed and Lucille vividly and remember them as wonderful parents and caring people. Our Dads taught in the old Arts building (long gone) and were friends throughout their teaching years and beyond. Lucille and our Mom bonded through Faculty Wives and I know Mom loved Lucille very much. I'm sure she was proud of all her kids and loved by her family. We'll hold you in our prayers as you grieve her passing. John Parfrey
To my cousins...I feel your pain as you have just lost your mom. Aunt Lucille was one great lady whom I admired very much. Her laugh was so infectious! You all were lucky to call her "Mom". And now she is at peace and with our Lord.
With my deepest sympathy
Remember your mother fondly, my sympathy to the family.
