Lucille M. Hintz

January 26, 1926 - November 5, 2023

Lucille Hintz, age 97, of Mayville, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at her home.

In honoring Lucille’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Lucille was born on January 26, 1926, to William and Esther (Wilhelm) Zoschke in Milwaukee. She graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee. On June 5, 1948, Lucille was united in marriage to Paul Hintz.

Lucille was a long-time active member of Faith United Church of Christ in Milwaukee. She enjoyed being with her family, especially up north at her son’s cabin.

Lucille is survived by her children: William (Susan) Hintz, and Sandra Woller-Hintz (Robin); 3 grandchildren: Alexander (Melissa) Hintz, Kevin (Hadley) Hintz, and Andrew Hintz; and 3 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul; son James; and siblings: Russell Zoschke, Dorothy Daufenbach, and David Zoschke.

The family wishes to thank Generations Hospice for their loving care.
