Maiya Jo Baum

Maiya Jo Baum, beautiful and joyful daughter of Veronica Gonzalez and Alexander Baum passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

In celebration of the gift of our beautiful daughter, Maiya Jo and for the comfort of her family a visitation will be held on Monday. March 20, 2023 from Noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Eric Taylor officiating.

Maiya was born on February 8, 2023 in Columbus, Wisconsin to Veronica and Alexander.  Maiya was a very cuddly and attentive baby.  She had an adorable little squeak in her voice and was filled with life and joy.  She had an adorable little side smile that would melt you heart and SO much love in her eyes.

Maiya will be deeply missed by her parents Veronica and Alex; her proud big sister Gabriella “Gabby”; grandmas: Jamie Baum, Melanie Van Rensselaer and Sally Jiricka; grandpas: Oscar Gonzalez and Daniel Buzbee; great grandma Vicki Jo Baum; aunts: Tierra Jo (Cameron Behrendt) Baum, Hailey Gaudinier, Ashley (Robby) Molinaro, Karissa Van Rensselaer, Angelica Gonzalez, uncles: Matthew (Caity) Berndt and Andrew Berndt, also cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her uncle Jayden Gaudinier.

Maiya Jo was cherished and will remain part of our family forever.
