Marc C. Vander Schaaf age 59, of Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly, at his home on Thursday, May 6, 2010.

A memorial gathering will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at church on Thursday, beginning at 6:00 PM. Rev Paul Hudson will officiate.

Marc is a 1968 graduate of Horicon High School, Owned and operated the Colonial Flower and Gift Shoppe in Horicon for many years. He loved flowers and working with computers.
Survivors include his two brothers, Dale (Nell) Vander Schaaf of Horicon, Chuck (Lora) Vander Schaaf of New Berlin, his sister, Jill (Rick) Curry of Horicon, nine nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marc is preceded in death by his parents.

My memory of Marc is a great conversation and laughter on Rick and Jill''s deck at Elizabeth''s graduation. I know he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the VanderSchaaf''s.

The thing we remember most about Marc was his contagious laugh. Also he was such an icon in our high school years with the Colonial. He was too young but we know his reunion with his mom and dad will be awesome. May you, as his family, know that peace is his. May you find that peace as well. We are here for you.
