Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday, August 3, 2009 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Mayville, with Rev. Fr. Tom Biersack officiating.
Visitation: A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2nd from 3 pm until 6 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, and also on Monday, August 3rd from 9 am until 10 am at the church.
Margaret ‘Mags’ A. Collien, 61, of 1214 Valley St. in Mayville passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac after a courageous battle with M.S.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2nd from 3 pm until 6 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, and also on Monday, August 3rd from 9 am until 10 am at the church. Interment will take place at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Mayville.
Margaret was born on October 22, 1947, the daughter of Felix and Loretta (Stueck) Elsinger in Fond du Lac, WI. She was married to Melvin H. Collien on August 6, 1966 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Leroy, WI. Mags was a 1965 graduate of Lomira High School. She was a former employee for TAB products for 20 years.
Mags was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Mayville. She was also a member of the Bintzler Woehler American Legion Auxiliary #347 of Lomira. She enjoyed going to the casino, craft items, and reading. The greatest love of her life though, was her husband ‘Cookie’ and their family.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Melvin ‘Cookie’ their children: Scott (Laurell) Collien, and their son, Dakota of Richfield, WI., Brian (Amy) Collien and their children, Maxwel, Logan, and Avery of Middleton, WI. She is also survived by her sister Jane Joas of Lomira, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Mervin Allen Elsinger and 1 grandson Keagan.
Mags family would like to give special thanks the staff at St. Agnes Hospital and especially to Mary Nick, Dr. Wonder, and also to Kathy Matuszewski.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
