Margarita Marquez, age 93, of Randolph, died Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Margarita will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, January 19, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Monday, beginning at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Randolph Cemetery.

The former Margarita Linarez was born on February 22, 1915 in Laredo, Texas to Juan and Benita (Villanueva) Linarez. On August 17, 1942, she was united in marriage with Joseph Marquez in Rubicon, Wisconsin. Margarita was a loving wife and mother and devoted her life to her family.

Survivors include seven children, Tomasita (Eulalio) Martinez of Beaver Dam, Mary (Juan) Sanchez of Berlin, Joseph “Vince” Marquez of Waupun, Daniel Marquez of Elmendorf, TX, Franklin “George” (Georgine) Marquez of Beaver Dam, Rachel Marquez of Beaver Dam and Gloria (Isidro) Cervantes of Johnson Creek, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, Irene Cruz and Biolanda Marquez, two grandsons, Jeffrey and Casey Marquez, five sisters, Santos Barragan, Henrieta Schultz, Elena Chavez, Maria Jauregui, and Rachel Chavez, and two brothers, Jessie Linarez and Sylvester Linarez.
