Marion E. Horn, 82 years, of Beaver Dam passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Hillside Manor surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral Service for Marion will be on Friday, April 24, 2009 at noon at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with the Rev. Kurt Mau officiating. Visitation for Marion will be on Friday, April 24th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens in the township of Trenton, Wisconsin.
Marion Evelyn was born the daughter of William and Elsie (Mahnke) Arndt on March 28, 1927 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1945, she graduated from North Division High School in Milwaukee. She was married to Edward D. Horn on September 18, 1948 in Milwaukee.
She had been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam since 1955. Marion had a ceramic workshop in her basement, where she enjoyed doing ceramic paintings of birds, vases, and wall hangings. She was an avid reader and enjoyed many types of arts and crafts. She had been a member of the baking group and the garden club.
Marion was a loving mother and she deeply cherished her grandchildren.
Marion is survived by her son, Norman (Paulette) Horn of Beaver Dam and her daughter, Donna (Dan Prunuske) Schauer of Beaver Dam; four grandchildren: Brandon, Krystal and Kayla Schauer and Michelle Horn. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward in 1999, her brother, William Arndt and her sister, Edith Binder.
