Marion J. Ziegel, 94, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
Marion was born on October 29, 1928 the daughter of Harry David and Louise A. (Schneider) Wilson in Breckenridge, North Dakota. She was united in marriage with Albert Ziegel.
Marion was a homemaker and enjoyed baking. She had worked many of her younger years on the family farm and at the candy counter at Woolworth Department Store. She also enjoyed going camping and fishing with her husband. Marion was a very generous person. She was funny, always positive and enjoyed life to the fullest. At family events Marion will always be remembered as “the life of the party”.
Marion is survived by her son Timothy Ziegel and her grandchildren: David L. Ziegel, Justine Ziegel, Shane Ziegel, Nathan Ziegel, Samantha Clark and Jessica Gooden; many great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert in 2003, sons: David Ziegel and Jonathan Ziegel; her sister LaVon Tomashek; also two sisters and a brother.
Graveside services for Marion will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Fox Lake, Wisconsin with the Rev. Daniel l. Bohn officiating.

My mother worked in the office at Woolworth's and really enjoyed working with Marion, as did I when I worked there as a summer stock boy. She always did a wonderful job and treated others with dignity and respect. So sorry for your loss.
