Mark and I were classmates at St. John’s Lutheran school. I remember him as a very kind and smart student. That he would become my brother in law was part of Gods larger plan. My sympathies to his family and of course to Deanna, Anna, and Margaret. “ God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in times of trouble” KJV Psalm 46. Pastor Ladwig had us all memorize this in 8th grade.

I am so sad that my good friend has left us. During football season we would talk Packers before and after each game. Comments like:
> That Favre is a wild man;
> I guess Rodgers is going fill in nicely;
> They gotta get rid of Mc Carthy.
> I think this is their year.

I am going to miss his voice and our friendship.

Chad Schittone left a message on September 13, 2025:

I have very fond memories of my time with Mark at UWGB. For a short while we shared an apartment before he left to finish school in Mpls. He was always kind, smiling and had a wonderful sense of humor. I am saddened that we lost touch with each other after college, but my memories of him in Green Bay will remain.
