Marlene A. Bennett, age 86, formerly of Beaver Dam, died suddenly on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
Marlene Ann was born on April 22, 1937 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to John and Ila (Polzin) Kastenmeier. She was a 1955 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Marlene was united in marriage to Ronald Bennett at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. She worked as a nursing assistant at Bradley Convalescent Center in Milwaukee for many years. Marlene was a past member of Our Lady of Good Hope in Milwaukee and at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam.
Marlene is survived by her children, Cindy Bennet of Milwaukee, Tim (Jenny) Bennett of Menomonee Falls, and Marc (Barb) Bennett of IN; five grandchildren, Alex (Tara) Bennett of IN, Ashley (Ben) Drost of IL, Ted Bennett of IN, Max Bennett of West Bend and Jon Bennett of Menomonee Falls; great grandchildren, Alan Drost and Thea Bennett; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; parents; and a sister, Marcia Sommers.
There will be a graveside service at St. Michael Cemetery in Beaver Dam on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
