Marlene E. Jaeger, age 83, of Beaver Dam, died Thursday, October 15, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.
There will be a memorial gathering at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Marlene was born on September 26, 1943, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Otto and Lola (nee Riess) Hasel. She graduated from Lake Mills High School in 1961. When she was younger, she enjoyed fishing and gardening. She worked at Walmart in Beaver Dam before retiring in 2015. Marlene loved to play cards and she knew many different games. She always enjoyed her frequent visits to The Watermark to play cards with her many friends. More than anything, Marlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and other family members.
Survivors include her two children, Michael Twardokus of Burnett and Kimberly (Michael) Hill of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren, Adam, Blake (Megan), Sarah (Troy), Beth (Bryan), RJ, and Morgan; 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Eugene (Betty) Hasel.
