Mary Louise (Mulligan) Domann, 81, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Juneau.
A visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 300 West Street, Beaver Dam. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Paul Stratman officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
Mary was born on May 10, 1943, the daughter of Harold and Marcella (Poetter) Mulligan in Waunakee, Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Columbus High School. On November 11, 1967, she was united in marriage with Jack M. Domann at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.
Mary had been employed as a bookkeeper for the State of Wisconsin. However, her true passion was in operating the family greenhouse. For over 40 years, Mary was a fixture at weekly area farmers’ markets where she shared a friendly smile and a wealth of plant knowledge with customers.
Mary will be deeply missed by her husband of 57 years, Jack; daughters: Christine (Robert) Lindeman and Rachel Domann both of Beaver Dam, and Stephanie (Christopher) Zimmerman of Madison; grandchildren: Alex (fiancée Alexis Becker) Lindeman, Adam Lindeman, and Tierney Jo Lindeman; Jacob (Alyssa) Zimmerman, Caleb Zimmerman, Cassandra Zimmerman, Callissa Zimmerman, Camiah Zimmerman, and Aaron Zimmerman; siblings: Carol Koblitz, David (Carol) Mulligan, Eugene (Joyce) Mulligan, Thomas (Carol) Mulligan, Wayne Mulligan, Steven (Linda) Mulligan, Warren Mulligan, Marlene (Roger) Plank, Joanne Mulligan and Susan Mulligan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother William Mulligan, sister Betty Mohr, brother-in law Raymond Mohr, brother-in-law Dave Koblitz, and sister-in-law Marsha Mulligan.
