Mary Ellen (Bashynski) Sharrer, 69, of Ferris, Texas passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie, Texas.
Mary was born in Beaver Dam on September 24, 1940, the daughter of the late Bernard Benedict and Isabel Catherine Pfeffer Bashynski.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Jill and son-in-law Steven Stone, Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Jay Walsh, Ferris, Texas, Jack Walsh Jr., Ferris, Texas, and Jeff and daughter-in-law Tara Walsh, Jackson, N.J.; two granddaughters, Jessica Stone, Memphis, Tenn., and Alexa Walsh, Jackson, N.J. Mary is also survived by three sisters, Delores Schouten, Hartford, Wis., Joyce Brown, Sun Prarie, Wis., and Karen Kiefer, Fond du Lac, Wis.; two brothers, Bernard Bashynski, Beaver Dam, Wis., and Thomas Bashynski, Beaver Dam, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard Benedict and Isabel Catherine Pfeffer Bashynski, sisters Carol Bashynski and Geraldine Bashynski.
A memorial gathering will be held at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church (formerly St. Patrick”s Church), 127 W. Maple Ave in Beaver Dam, on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church, beginning at 10:30 AM. Fr. Charles Scheuerell will officiate. Inurnment will follow at St. Peter”s Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
