Hi Linda,
You have our deepest sympathy & will be in our thoughts & prayers.

It seems there wasn't a time when I didn't know Matt Werbelow. I worked with Matt in the mid '80s as a beginning violinist and was with him when he graduated from the BDHS orchestra in '94. Who would have known that Matt and I would continue to play music together as part of the Area Orchestra for another 30 seasons! I was so blessed to have known him and I am so sad to hear of his passing. Kind, loving, gentle and genuine. He was truly a role model to our younger orchestra students as he modeled a lifetime of music! I am very proud of what he accomplished. I wish his family and friends, members of the BDAO my sincere condolences. He is hopefully making more music once again with his favorite teacher, Mark Leiser!
My heartfelt condolences to Linda, Stephanie, and all family of Matt. We've known you for so very long, and I was just shocked to hear of your passing, Matt. I am in the trumpet section of the Beaver Dam Area Orchestra where I was able to play several concerts with Matt. Matt and I went to several concerts, shows, etc together, and he was always a joy to be around. Rest in eternal peace, Matt, and I look forward to seeing you again someday. -Jason Bernhagen
My dear friend Matt. I know how much to love the Lord by your words and actions. I will miss you at church and karaoke WHO knew the last time we spoke was at the church picnic. You’re home at last.
My very deepest sympathies to Matt's mother, sister, friends and relatives.
I played violin in Matt's section with the Beaver Dam Area Orchestra the last 3 seasons and a couple times as his stand partner.
We chatted before/ after rehearsals and I found him to be kind and welcoming. We talked about "The Chosen" and Christian music & concerts, and I was so impressed with his dedication with BDAO for 30 seasons! I know he was a follower of our Lord and Savior.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual Light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
My sincere condolences. I’ve known Matt since Elementary School. We graduated together and both continued to play in the BDAO. Matt was always polite and kind, His smile will be missed.
My sincere condolences to you and your family. May your memories comfort you during this dificult time.
