I got to know Mike & Kadie when they moved in across the street from us, couldn't ask for nicer neighbors. The news of Mike's passing hits hard for any who knew him; whether you knew him for a lifetime, a few years or as an acquaintance, he is remembered as smiling, laughing, fun loving, genuine, kind, giving, helpful, caring, enthusiastic about the good and simple things in life such as his family, pets, nature, work. We shared some good times on the river, a hayride and party bus, lol, but it was the everyday encounters that are most memorable. Like showing us the owl that would nest in their cool looking tree in the front yard, our kids hanging out for guinea pig play dates, admiring each other's pumpkin and snow art, talking about work, life, family, swapping baked goods and planning that neighborhood pool party that we never got around to. My heart goes out to Kadie and the girls, and all his family and friends. I pray you find comfort in God's promise of the resurrection, knowing you will see and embrace him again. (John 6:44)

One of the coolest guys I've met in my life. So fun and cool to be around! Wish we could have spent more time with each other and transplanted more plants both inside and out. Love you man
