Our sincere sympathy comes with this message. We both were blessed to have known and worked with Mike at Quad. He was truely a wonderful and loving friend. I have heard so many stories from everyone about how he put himself out there for them. I and Tom also feel that way. He was such a proud father and wasn''t afraid to shout it to the world. He would share how the wrestling team was doing and demonstrate some of their moves. He shared all the prep for Missy''s wedding and the photos afterward. He shared how he sometimes butted heads with the kids because he didn''t want them to make the mistakes he''d learned from. But, no matter what, his love came shining through. He also absolutely adored his "Dolly", you were his rock. He just lit up whenever he talked about you. His family was the reason for all of his hard work. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. To Steve and the family of Mr. Hollweck, We are sorry to hear about the death of your father. Cheyenne is a former classmate of Steve from Dodgeland and was planning on coming to the funeral but was unable to attend. Tom and I knew of Mr. Hollweck, but did not really know him. My sympathies to Mikes family. I enjoyed many years of working with Mike and playing softball in the Quad league with him. No one could quite play third base like him. Loss unbearable as it feels: but an inner peace of how they sleep; a life we do not keep. Leann, when I think of the 4 years of wrestling with your family, I have only one word I feel best describes Mike to us, PRIDE, in you, his children. His energy, his talks of encouragement with Jordan, he was there for all of the Dodgeland wrestling team, the kidding around with Jaxon, the talks with Chris. I could start this out as most condolences begin, with an apology for your loss, but I know such words won''t even begin to ease the pain you are all feeling. I do pray, however, God provides you all with the strength and support you need. May every tear shed be wiped away with Mike''s very own hand -in his memory and spirit. I have had the pleasure of knowing Mike way back in my high school days while I carried the label "Steve''s girlfriend." From the first day I met him and Leanne, I was welcomed with open arms. Mike has this incredible way of making you feel like family. What I didn''t know was that I would be receiving full tutorials of the landscape surrounding the home in Juneau. Let me tell you, by the end of our tour, I knew how every flower was planted, where every rock came from, and the precise way in which he cared for it all. What I didn''t see at the time was that his love of life and those he cared about was handled with the same delicacy and concise demeanor. When I think of Mike, however, the first thing which comes to mind is his humor, which never seemed to have an off button. You could be having one of the worst days, and within minutes his energetic persona and light-heartedness would have you forgetting what was so bad about your day in the first place. They say laughter is the best medicine. Those who were able to spend a lot of time with him must have enough doses to last them a lifetime. Above all, Mike was a great man who worked hard at all he did and would take the shirt off of his back if someone else needed it more. His memory and legacy will be remembered by all who knew him.

Uncle Mike will be missed by so many. He was such a wonderful uncle and a truly loyal human being with the best sense of humor! He made us laugh each time we were together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Leanne, Charles, Missy, and Steven. Love to all, Kim, Rich & Machaella
