Cathy & George Durfee left a message on April 21, 2016:

Dear Family, Myrtle was such a special person, a beautiful spirit, it was our pleasure to know her and to work with her on many BD Chamber projects, she was just the "Spark" needed to get more people involved in the chamber and community events. We have so many fun and fond memories. We know she will be singing in the heavenly choir.

DLO Musical Theatre left a message on April 21, 2016:

In 1955, Myrtle helped found Danville Light Opera Company, now known as DLO Musical Theatre, in Danville, Illinois. The nonprofit group has just completed its 61st season and is still growing. Our board of directors and, indeed, the entire community are grateful for Myrtle's foresight and effort in creating one of East Central Illinois' leading arts organizations. We send our deepest sympathy to her family.

Cheri, Michael, Mark, and Gillian, I want to send my sympathies to you. I am happy to have been a small part of Myrtles life for the past 2 years. She always had a smile for me when I arrived and we always found many things to laugh about. I will truly miss her. Gods blessings to you. Debbie Roggenbauer

Venita / Robert Matheus left a message on April 18, 2016:

Dear Cheri, Michael and Mark and Gillian, I don't need to tell you what your Mom and Grandma meant to me. I will always remember all the great times and some sad times that we shared. May God be with you all in this time of sorrow. Unfortunately I will be out of town on the day of the memorial service....please know that I will be with all of you in heart.
