Nancy A. Sharpe, age 46, of Neenah, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, May 4, 2009 at St. Elizabeth”s Hospital in Appleton, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with Multiple Scleroses.
Nancy was born on July 3, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Frank and Delores (Heiden) Weiss. She was united in marriage with Perry Sharpe in Dallas, Texas. Nancy was an excellent waitress at many hotels and supper clubs in the Fox Valley and Milwaukee areas. She was a loving mother to her two children and grandson. Nancy also loved camping with her mom for many years and loved her many animals and her crafts. She attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School for two years and later graduated from Data Processing Institute in Milwaukee where she worked many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Herning of Appleton, son Curtis of Oshkosh, and a grandson, Adam Herning of Appleton. She is further survived by her mom and step-dad, Delores and Bob Weiss of Juneau, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Heiden, in 1967, her grandparents, Otto and Lucine Buege, and her uncles, Dennis and LeRoy Buege.
Visitation will be at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. There will also be a visitation at the church on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will follow at the church on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Daniel Seehafer officiating. Burial will be a Juneau City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
