Nancy I. Kiefer, age 65, of Theresa unexpectedly was called to her heavenly home on October 15, 2019 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.Nancy was born July 1, 1954 to Harley and Isabelle (Marsh) Sellnow in Fond du Lac. She worked on her family farm throughout her young years. She was a lifelong member of Zion/St. Peter Lutheran Churches in Theresa She was a Sunday school teacher for a short time. She graduated from Lomira High School in 1973. She then married her true love, Leo Kiefer on April 4, 1982. She soon started her lifelong job of being an amazing mother to her two daughters, Ann and Julieann. She was a caretaker to many close family members and a had a heart of gold to take care of any kitty that came her way. She also enjoyed helping with St. Peter’s Ladies Aid. When she had time she enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. She also would attempt fishing with her husband. Over the years she also enjoyed word searches, cross stitching, and coloring books. Her favorite things were whatever her daughters wanted to do or wherever the car took her.Nancy is watching from Heaven- her daughters- Ann Kiefer of Green Bay and Julieann Kiefer of Theresa. Her brother- Glenn (Judy) Sellnow of Hartford. Brothers in law- Donald (Judy) Kiefer of Charlotte, NC. and Eugene Kiefer of Fond du Lac, sisters in law- Judy Blada of Coloma, Doris (Daryl) Morgan of Fond du Lac, Donna Stephany of Fond du Lac, and Karen (Robert) Lowery of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Nancy is joining in Heaven- her parents, her husband Leo, a still born brother and son, and other relatives and friends.Nancy would love for her family and friends to join in remembering her life on Friday, October 18 from 1-3p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Theresa with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jon Learman officiating. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Theresa.*Mom and Dad got called to their eternal home ten years apart.
