My deepest sympathy for the family of Nancy Wanie. She was a great friend through our years in school and later as we raised our families. May her soul rest in peace. Amen.
My condolences to the entire Wanie family, especially Lee. I have many wonderful memories of our families camping together during the Baraboo antique show. Nancy was like a second Mom to my brothers and me during those trips. She made sure we were fed, behaved, and just generally felt taken care of. She was such a kind and sweet woman. Hugs and love to all of you. Mom and I really wanted to be there today with Dad and Scott but unfortunately weren't able.
To Lee and family, we send our deepest condolences to your loss.
Sincerely,
John and Sue Carstens
Lisa,
Sorry for your loss.
Im having a few health issues that make it very hard to get down there . Im sorry for all of your pain.
My mom( Nancys Sister, Shirley)has been gone 30 yrs now and its very hard to be without the love and support of your parents or wife. I have always loved Aunt Nancy, she loved me when I felt alone. I recently found a note from her that said I love you Judi and I need you in my life. It was so touching because she didnt like to talk about those things. I talked to her about twice a month maybe more maybe less. We were friends and related. Best of both worlds.
When she had a tough time seeing and I wanted her to teach me how to knit and crochet, we would talk over the phone. She would close her eyes and picture how to do it and explain it to me. She was even still making lapghans for the Lions (?) to donate to people in nursing homes and kids in the hospital! She was my hero and Im sure going to miss writing to her and chatting with her in the Rememberence Home and hearing her squeal "Judi" when she was given the phone. The world lost a really special lady and Im never going to be the same...God Bless until we see each other again say hi to everyone for me!
I love you,
Your Doodee (Judi)
