There are people who make a difference by their willingness to help others, their involvement in the community and world they live in. Nancy was certainly an amazing person who shared her talents and time in many ways. I enjoyed working with her on projects and will miss her enthusiasm and ability to organize as well as her frank remarks on what should be happening and how things worked!
I will miss her but never forget the times we shared and her friendship meant a great deal to me and many others. She may be gone, but will never be forgotten or replaced, she was a truly memorable lady! God Bless.

Christine Leitzke-Breitkreutz left a message on June 27, 2016:

Dear Elaine, Ken, Carl and all of Nancy's family, You have our deepest sympathies at this sorrowful time. Nancy and I were classmates all through grade school at Bethany Lutheran in Hustisford. There were many times when Nancy invited me to a "sleep over" at her home. I remember one time when her Mom cooked a meal with what she said was chicken soup, but her Dad announced it was rabbit stew. Of course, I was shocked and had a hard time eating from then on. We didn't see each other for years until we "met" again while working for the Republican Party of Dodge County. We could always count on Nancy's help at the Dodge County Fair and "manning" the office during election years! She is blessed to have had many friends here on earth and she is now in heaven now with her Mom, Dad and brother Ron!

My sympathies to Nancy's family on her passing. She was a great fighter right to the end. I have good memories of our work time together at PJ's. Always laughing. She gave a lot of her time helping others. Heaven has received a giver.

Annette Grossenbacher left a message on June 25, 2016:

Nancy was my next door neighbor in Hustisford and we spent a lot of time together. When I had my second baby she helped me and even after I moved to Baraboo she spent a week helping me. As time passes and things change people lose track of each other. I regret that I didn't get to keep in touch with Nancy in later years. She was always so ambitious and kind and caring. My deepest sympathy to her siblings, Kenny and Elaine, and to the rest of the family. You are all in my prayers. And Nancy will always have a special place in my heart.

It is a sad time for friends and family. Great memories of when we worked together at Rita's Restaurant and PJ's Family Restaurant. Was glad she was well enough to make it to our PJ's reunion breakfast several months ago. She put up the good fight. God rest her soul. In sincere sympathy> Butch and Donna Chase

It is with great sadness to learn of Nancy's passing. I met her through my brother Gary Luedeke who was another great fisherman and member of Lake Link. After my brother's passing, Nancy was so gracious to invite me to her home for a family and friends picnic. We enjoyed her laughter, stories and friends she introduced us to. She leaves a permanent bright spot in my memories that I'll never forget her. Nancy, say Hi to my brother from me, I'm sure you both are telling each other some great fish stories. God Bless the family and friends of Nancy's...... Cj (Carol) Luedeke-Townsend
