I’m so glad your dad was part of my life. He was so kind to me and my children made us feel like part of the family. I will miss going to the Fireside Theater with him. His face always lit up when we were there! I will also miss the playing Sheepshead with him, another joyous time, Especially when he was getting good cards!
May you rest in peace! I know your heart is full again because you are reunited with the love of your life!!
Char, Jeff, Sandy, and Dean I’m sorry for your loss! May you all find peace!
Char, I’m heartbroken for you. I know how much you loved your Father and how much he loved you! You were one of them he could rely on when he needed it the most. I hope you know you were a great daughter for him.My deepest condolences ❤️
Sympathies on the loss of Nubby. He was always a frendly and talkative cousin.
Our deepest sympathies from Anne and I on the passing of Nubby. I used to live across the street in LeRoy from Nubby and Jo when I lived with my parents back in the early sixties. At the time I remember Charlene and Jeff running around. Sandy and Dean were just figments of their imagination at the time. I always enjoyed working with Nubby on various projects at St. Andrew's. In recent years, we often ran into Nubby at St. Mary's in Mayville. I'm afraid we won't be attending his funeral on Saturday, considering the weather and I don't navigate very well myself. Also, our sympathies to Dan, Alex (Butch) and Mary Ann.
Charlene, Jeff, Sandra, and Dean - Kelly and I extend our deepest sympathies to you. Your father was a man of strong character who quietly lived a life of deep faith. I remain grateful to him and Jim for giving me the opportunity to work at "The Locker" with such flexibility all those years ago. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, bring you comfort during this time of loss.
Dear Char,
It is difficult to let go of your father, your friend, your lifetime advisor. Maybe it will help to focus on the amazing life he lived. He modeled for you and your family how to live with a strong faith and a compassionate heart. Yes, he was successful in the business world but what was obvious was that he was most proud of his family. It was God's gift to all of us, his family, his friends, and his community, to have your father in this life for almost 96 years. It was God's gift to your father to have a family that loved him deeply. As you now let him return to our God who created him, to join his loving wife, and to experience complete joy for all eternity, remember your father's incredibly warm smile. Know that he is now more accessible to you than ever, day and night, to pray with you and to comfort you. Be at peace.
With love,
Har and Barb
Norbert Weinberger was a good St. Norbert College alumnus, loyal and true. During his time as a student in the late 40s and early 50s, he was a starting guard on an undefeated SNC Green Knight football team. He frequently returned to campus for the annual Alumni Football Day game. St. Norbert is proud to play a role in Norb's wonderful life.
You could not find a nicer person than Nubby! He was always friendly and engaging in conversation. Heaven definitely gained an angel. RIP Nubby!

My dear buddy Norb.... how i will miss our Monday and Thursday visits and you always asking me if I beat the train to Lomira on my way to see you... we always laughed about that.. May you rest in peace buddy. Until we meet again. Love you buddy🩷🩷
I met Norb in 1999 in LeRoy when I started teaching at the re-opened St. Andrew’s School. He was outside the building doing some painting. His cheerful welcome was so typical of his warm personality. Over the years if we teachers needed anything we knew who to contact. He and Jo later sponsored a scholarship for graduating 8th graders at St. Mary’s School in Mayville. I will miss his big smile with which he continued to greet me whenever we met over the years. Rest in peace, Nubby.
Kris
