Pamala West

Pamala (Pam) West, 59, of Hustisford passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 27, 2023 surrounded by family. Pam was born on March 15, 1964 in Rockford, IL to Mary (Patterson) and James Samples. Pam was employed with Kwik Trip where she quickly made many friends. Pam was an avid Packers fan. She enjoyed being outdoors riding the RZR with her son or being in Door County exploring with her daughter. She loved going to the races at the Rockford Speedway with her friends and family. Pam is survived by her children: Stefanie (Cory) Gall of Niota, IL, Maggie West of Hustisford, WI and Jason West of DePere, WI; granddaughter Abigail Gall and grandson on the way. She is further survived by her mother Mary Scott; her brother James Samples Sr. and her sisters Malynda (Marc) Moorman and Jean (David) Patterson; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. She had her special four legged granddog, Jace, that she loved spending time with. She was preceded in death by her father James Samples and her brother Randy Samples Sr. No formal funeral service will take place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date organized by the family. The family would like to thank all of the amazing staff at UW-Madison for their life saving efforts where Pam spent the last moments of her short life.
