Loris Steinbach left a message on September 29, 2009:

I am the daughter of Irene Schwandt Steinbach of Mayville. My mother was a high school classmate of Paul''s at Horicon HS - Class of 1932. She was always so pleased and honored that Paul organized and arranged their class reunions at The Pub in Mayville - even into their 70th Year Reunion in 2002. Her disappointment in attending was always seeing fewer of her classmates there. She died May 2, 2007. May they be having a grand class reunion in the great classroom in the heavens.

Jerry Deptolla (for the Charles Deptolla family) left a message on September 20, 2009:

We were sorry to hear of Paul Sr''s passing for he has always been around and we thought he would outlive all of us. Our family (Grandmother/Grandfather) owned the house adjacent to the Paul Kruel family from the early 50''s into the late 70''s. While we are from the Chicago area our family spent almost half of every year''s weekends in Horicon, and I became boyhood friends with Paul Jr. I remember Paul Sr. driving up to his house at what seemed 40 MPH in the driveway but never had an accident be it in his Ford or in his milk truck. Always busy, always moving, always smiling. Never, never had a cross word to us children, no matter what we were doing. Certainly he will be remembered and missed.
