Paul K. Lainberger, 70, of Mosinee passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison.
Paul was born on November 9, 1953 to Kiven and Louise (Schweiger) Lainberger. He was a graduate of Dodgeland High School. Paul was employed as a machine operator with Mosinee Paper Co. in Columbus for over 20 years and later with Kondex Corp. in Lomira until his retirement.
Paul enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, and shooting pool. He collected John Deere toy tractors and enjoyed spending time at the cabin near Shell Lake.
Paul is survived by his children: Lori (David) Kneer of Watertown and Cory (Melissa) Lainberger of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren: Emily, Kaitlyn, and Jolene; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. Pastor Larry Moodie will officiate. A private family interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam the following day.

My condolences on the loss of your father. I was hoping to get back to WI some time ago but covid got in the way and my class reunion was not held in 2021 and I didn't get back. I wanted to go through more of the pictures that uncle Kevin got from my sister that were from my mother. May he rest in peace now with no more suffering.

We never got to meet Paul's children, but he was the most compassionate neighbor ever. When we first moved in, and every year after, if we weren't home, he snowblowed the driveway and mulched our leaves. He had a big heart and never asked for anything in return. He truly truly will be missed😪
