We will truly miss Aunt Pearl. She always had a twinkle in her eye and such a soft lovely voice. I am thankful that Dad, John and I were able to visit Horicon last September and spend time with Aunt Pearl. We have wonderful memories of Aunt Pearl who was cherished by so many. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love you, Lori and John Smollar, Columbia SC
Please accept our condolences on the passing of Jenny''s mom. We will not be able to attend the visitation or burial but will keep you all in our prayers.
Sarah, Dennis, Sean, Jenny and family......I thought the world of Pearl and Fred, and was always so glad to be able to visit them when I got back to Horicon for visits. They always made me feel so welcome, like one of the family. It makes me smile to think of them together again. I will miss Pearl and her beautiful smile, but knowing she is with her Frederick now, I hope gives you all peace. All my love, Lorna
Mothers are forever and Pearl was the best. I am sure she will keep "Heaven''s" occupants on their toes. Love to all, Sharon Palas
Dear Mary, Nettie, Jenny, John, Sarah, Aunt Esther, & Family members, my heart and prayers are with each of you as we say farewell to our beloved and gentle spirit, Pearl, a woman of strong faith and conviction. Her soul has taken flight on the wings of an angel to her eternal resting place with our Lord. She will reunite with her soul-mate and life-mate, Frederick, the love of her life. They will dance together among the clouds. Once again she will hold her son in her arms and look into his eyes, she will share exuberant hugs with her parents, siblings, relatives and friends. Her strength and grace and delicate nature have left a memorable and lasting impression on all who knew her and loved her. Pearl''s spirit will always be present and will carry on in her children and grandchildren. Thoughts of her will leave an indelible smile in our hearts. Just knowing she is home and at peace, will hopefully bring comfort to her loved ones left behind. I love this woman and I will miss her dearly. Beautiful memories of a beautiful lady. God bless and much love to all. xoxo Mary Lynn
I''m sad that Pearl is gone but glad I saw her last September. I wish I could be there, but know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love to all, Rueben
Dear Mary, Jenny, Nettie, Sarah, John, Aunt Esther, Uncle Sonny and families....I too am very saddened to hear about the passing of your mother and my Aunt Pearl. The last time I saw both my Aunt Pearl and Aunt Esther was at my own father''s (Harvey) funeral in 1978. As I remember, my father being a favorite of yours.....your mother will always be a wonderful memory for me also. I was about 16 yrs old the last time I visited Wisconsin and I am 54 yrs old today. I will never forget the day Aunt Pearl and Aunt Esther were sharing with me how they had looked up their birth certificates and their names were not what they always thought they were! I remember one of the names being Edith Olive and the other one escapes me now, but they were shocked and we laughed hysterically. I think they were trying to convince me that my own name Rosemary Adele was not so bad and that it could be worse!! I do not know if that story was true or if they were just pulling my leg at the time as they often did! But it is one of many wonderful memories I have of being in Horicon at my Aunt Pearl and Uncle Fred''s house. Losing a family member is never easy. I lost my father in 1978 and my oldest son Ryan in 2001. But when you look around and you hear the stories of how many people were touched by your mother or are grieving at their loss of her....you remember what a truly wonderful woman she really was. Aunt Pearl will live on in heaven along with my father, Uncle Fred, Freddie, Ryan and the rest of her beloved family and one day we will all be together again. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I wish we could all be there with you now. All my love, Rosemary Troup in Eugene, Oregon
Mary and Family of Pearl, God bless your family at this time of great sorrow. Life is but borrowed time until our Savior, Jesus Christ, calls us home to be with him. Blessed are those who have been his children while alive. Pearl has definitely earned her reward. George and Arline
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. It has been years since I was in Horicon with Dad, but I will always treasure my memories of summer vacations there during my childhood. Aunt Pearl was a wonderful woman. Sincerely, Christy (Leichtle) Cubelic
We were so sad to hear about Aunt Peal''s death. I have many wonderful memories of playing with my Wisconsin cousins at her home in Horicon. She was such a warm and loving aunt. You are all in my prayers and you have our deepest sympathy. Sorry we could not be with you in person for her funeral, but we will be there in spirit. Love to all of you, Ann & Carty Hart
