Randall D. “Randy” Grebel, 69, of Beaver Dam, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Randall Dale was born on April 16, 1957, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, the son of Dale and Faroline (Draeger) Grebel. He grew up helping on the family farm and graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1975. On September 7, 1996, Randy married Virginia M. Kollmansberger at Trinity Methodist Church in Beaver Dam.
Randy was a licensed pump installer who served residential and agricultural well customers. He owned and operated Grebel’s Pump Service for 50 years before retiring in 2025.
A man of deep faith, Randy was an ordained minister and a member of Promised Land Church in Watertown. He volunteered with Youth for Christ and regularly welcomed kids to his home for shop nights. Randy also served on the Dodge County Board of Supervisors from 2006 to 2016.
Randy was a gifted storyteller, a MOPAR enthusiast and a self-taught mechanic who always had a project underway. He held a pilot’s license and belonged to the Dodge County Antique Power Club, as well as snowmobile and ATV clubs. He enjoyed water sports, swimming and riding motorcycles from his youth well into later life. Randy loved Tommy Boy and quoted it daily. He also took pride in mowing his lawn and caring for his property and woods. Above all, he loved taking care of Virginia and their family.
Randy will be deeply missed by his wife of 30 years, Virginia; his children, Derek Davison of Columbus, Rebecca Davison of Beaver Dam and Michelle (Aaron) Crabb of Medford; his seven grandchildren, Tristan, Sage, Kalila, Seth, Zephaniah, Braxton and Hudson; and his four great-grandchildren, Alaiah, Finlae, Matteo and Lola. He is further survived by his brothers, Jim (Helen) Grebel of Mayville and John (Dana) Grebel of Burnett; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Visitation for Randy will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jeffrey Steiner officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
