Richard L. Neis, age 78, of Juneau, died peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Beaver Dam Health Care Center.
A private funeral service will be held and burial will be at Lowell Cemetery.
Richard Lee Neis was born on June 22, 1945 in Watertown, Wisconsin to Lyle and Eleanor (Radloff) Neis. He was raised on the family farm with his three brothers. After graduating Juneau High School, Richard continued his passion of farming and operated the family dairy farm until his retirement.
Richard is survived by his brothers, Charles (Jeanne) Neis, Tim Neis, and Ronald Neis; nieces, Julie (Mike) Firari, Candace (Matt) Wagner, Laura (Greg) Weaver, and Lisa Maertz; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his step-mother, Betty Neis.

I was 1 of Richard's nurses at care center n remember the day he was admitted. He was always nice to me n would draw anything he knew I liked ie: pics of jesus. Barns . crosses. Churches. He was so proud of his drawings. I hope they were saved. He spent alot of time on them. I will treasure his drawings always. We talked about farming alot. He will b missed. God bless u all.
