Rita M. Huebner, 94, of Columbus and formerly of Randolph passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Columbus Nursing and Rehab Center.

Rita was born on May 13, 1928 in Columbus to Stanley and Florence (Fuerst) Sadoski. She was a graduate of Randolph High School and Columbia Co. Normal School. Rita was married to Donald J. Huebner on June 22, 1950 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. She taught at South Beaver Dam Elementary for one year. Later, she was employed with the Cheeseman, Jung’s in Randolph and was part owner of Knit Picking in Columbus. Rita was a dedicated homemaker.

Rita was a member of Annunciation Catholic Parish in Fox Lake. She was a member of the Columbia County Homemakers. Rita served on the Randolph School Board and volunteered with the Red Cross. Rita enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and loved her family.

Rita is survived by her children: David (Nancy) Huebner of Columbus, Dan (Carrie) Huebner of North Aurora, IL, Duane (Rose) Huebner of Escalon, CA, Deanne (Kent) Nauman of Sun Prairie, and Debra (Robert) Figueroa of Butler, WI; daughters-in-law: Vicki and Gina; 37 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald in 2012; sons: Delbert in 1980, Doug in 2000, and Dale in 2008; and infant daughter in 1972; great grandson Benjamin in 2004; and her brother Gerald Sadoski.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Koepsell-Zeidler Funeral Home in Columbus; and on Friday, April 28^th from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church in Fox Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church with Fr. John Radetski officiating. Interment will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
