Robert F. Frank

Robert “Bob” F. Frank, age 96, of Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at his home.

The visitation will be at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Beaver Dam on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Naidu officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Robert Franklin Frank was born at home on November 13, 1929 to Albert and Mary (Ollinger) Frank. He married Betty Schoenwetter on April 19, 1958 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Together, he and Betty became the 4th generation of Franks to raise a family on, and work, the family farm in Westford Township, homesteaded by his great grandfather in 1856.

Bob enjoyed bowling, playing cards, hunting and fishing. He looked forward to his annual fishing trips to northern Wisconsin with good friends, Pete and Earl, as well as the November Dear Camp, where some deer were harvested, wild stories were shared and countless hands of Sheepshead were dealt.

The most important things to Bob were his family, his farm and his faith.

Bob is survived by his children, Charles Frank of Columbus, Doris (Dan) Hahn of Beaver Dam, Richard (Robin) Frank of Beaver Dam and Jeff Frank of Beaver Dam; five grandchildren, Alissa Bagneski, Kathleen Doege, Samantha (Justin) Thiede, Tim Frank and Steven Bilke; 12 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty; brothers, Herbert, Elmer and Donald Frank; sister, Helen Welch; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Frank; and great grandson, Dominic Frank.
