Robert F. Zuehlke 72 years, of Beaver Dam passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 7, 2008.
Funeral Services for Bob will be on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at noon at First Ev. Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Mark J. Molldrem officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens in the Township of Trenton, Wisconsin.
Robert Franklin was born the son of Albert and Melozena (Voeltz) Zuehlke on September 15, 1936 in the township of Burnett, Wisconsin. He was married to Joan Luedke on August 10, 1957 in Juneau.
Bob was retired from Scensient of Juneau after working for 20 years in the electrical department. He was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Bob was an avid sportsman and a craftsman.
Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan Zuehlke of Beaver Dam; his three daughters: Cheryl (Dan) Vermeulen of DePere, Sally Ray of Eau Claire and Susan (Andy) Griswold of Wauwatosa; his five grandchildren: Jessie Ray, Elizabeth Vermeulen, Timothy Vermeulen, Meghan Griswold and Drew Griswold; his brother, Merlin Zuehlke of Beaver Dam; mother-in-law, Verna Luedke of Beaver Dam; sister-in-law, Marlene (Robert) Dunn of Watertown; Brothers-in-law: Willard (Judy) Luedke of Reno, NV and Merlin (Shirley) Luedke of Juneau. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Walter Luedke; grandson, Michael John Vermeulen; two sisters: Lila Potter and Sylvia Thompson; sister-in-law, Genevieve Zuehlke and his nephew, Gary Zuehlke.
