Robert J. Hundt, age 67, of Beaver Dam and formerly of Juneau, died on Monday, May 29, 2006 at his home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at St. John”s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. The funeral service will follow at St. John”s Ev. Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert Wilke officiating. Burial will be in the Juneau City Cemetery with Military Graveside Services.
Robert Jerome Hundt was born on July 19, 1938 in Hustisford, the son of Gilbert and Effie (Perschke) Hundt. Robert served his country in the Army National Guard. He was married to Caryl Rogers and then later married Delores Soldner. He worked at Dairyland of Juneau and then at John Deere Horicon Works until his retirement. He was a longtime member of St. John”s Ev. Lutheran Church of Juneau. Robert enjoyed NASCAR, and deer hunting and was fond of his 1963 Chevy Impala that he rebuilt from scratch. He entered many car shows, receiving several trophies and awards for his hard work and restoration .
Survivors include his seven children, Randy (Dawn) Hundt of Ripon, Debbie (Tim) Cluppert of Ripon, Christine Becker of Markesan, Peter (Rose) Hundt of Rolla, MO, Susan Winkler of Kingston, Mary Hundt of Kingston and James Hundt of Juneau, 11 grandchildren, one great granddaughter; two sisters, Donna Brown of Juneau and LouAnn Ohrmundt of Juneau; two brothers, Delmer Hundt of Juneau, Glenn (Mary) Hundt of Burnett, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Gilbert Hundt in 1975, and his mother Effie Hundt-Somerville in 1999 and his first wife, Caryl.
