Roberta N. Henning

Roberta Nicole Henning age 43 of Burnett, Wisconsin, passed peacefully after a struggle with heart failure.

A visitation for Roberta will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home on Monday, July 3, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Roberta was born on April 25, 1980 and raised in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood of Chicago and lived many years in Glenview, IL. She earned her associate’s degree in business administration from Herzing College. Roberta owned and operated Zilisch & Henning Tax Service, LLC in Burnett. She loved being outdoors kayaking, fishing, hunting and camping. She also had a love of animals and she was an avid Cubs fan and Packer fan. Roberta’s greatest joy was the people in her life. She loved children; she cherished her role as mother and grandmother and she also loved her nieces and nephews. Being surrounded by family and friends brought her both comfort and joy. In reality, Roberta considered her friends as family.

She is the adored wife of Troy Henning. Loving mother of Nathan, Ryan, Nicholas, and David Scott and Jessica Henning (Blake Walker), Brittany (Zach) Bartotto, Morgan Henning (Ty Hougan), and Trevor Henning. Loving grandmother of Addalyn & Atticus and Alistair, Lilith & Talia. Cherished daughter of Robert and Nicolette Hiemer. Beloved sister of Jennifer Hiemer (Bob Rietz), Michele (John) Kotis, John Hiemer, and Thomas (Jiselle) Hiemer. Devoted aunt to Miranda (Steven) Genz, Isabella Hiemer. Great-aunt to Mackenzie Genz. Beloved daughter-in-law of Kelly Henning and sister-in-law of Steve (Jocelyn) Henning. Roberta is loved by many extended family and close friends.
