Roger E. Kuhl, 78, of Fox Lake passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial gathering for Roger will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Father John J. Radetski officiating. A reception with food and fellowship will follow the service at the Fox Lake Community Center in Fox Lake, Wisconsin.
Roger was born on September 20, 1944 the son of Ralph and Eileen (Meyers) Kuhl in Lena, Illinois. On October 12, 1968, he was united in marriage with Dianna L. Peck in Burlington, Wisconsin.
Roger worked at Snap On Tools, and did carpentry work. He was very mechanically inclined. He could fix anything and many people brought their cars to him for repair. Roger enjoyed helping people out and will be remembered for all the nicknames he gave to others. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Roger loved his blue truck and his tools. He enjoyed mowing the lawn, sitting out front of his house drinking coffee, going camping and racing stock cars in Lake Geneva. Most important to Roger, was the love of his family and the time spent together.
Roger will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years, Dianna and his three children: Bryan Kuhl of Beaver Dam, Donna (Ken) Beckrow of Fox Lake and Kevin (Kris) Kuhl of Cambria; his grandchildren: Tiffany, Brandon, Joshua, Ryan and Kyle; four great grandchildren; his brothers: Bill (Barb) Kuhl, Jim Kuhl and Ronnie (Judy) Kuhl. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: Gary, Jerry, Darrell, Jack and Donny.
