Roger Herman Kintopp, 68, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mayville on Friday, October 31, 2025.
A Celebration of Life Gathering for Roger will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville.
Roger was born on October 30, 1957, to Herman and Clarice (Luckow) Kintopp in Beaver Dam.
Roger married Kim Kintopp on September 26, 2009, at the Dodge County Ledge Park.
He was a dedicated manager at The Mineshaft in Hartford. Prior to that he worked at Conagra in Mayville.
Roger’s greatest passions were spending quality time with his family and friends, maintaining and planting flowers in his yard, all things pertaining to wood, hunting, bike riding, hiking, camping, canoeing, backyard campfires, bowling, sharing funny memes with his loved ones, traveling, kicking a football, the Packers, the Brewers, his three cats (Sassy, Teddie, and Tigger), lending a helping hand to anyone that needed it and last but not least being shirtless all summer.
Roger will be deeply missed by his wife Kim; his daughter Jodie Kintopp; his non-biological daughter Jesse Kintopp; his three step children: Jason (Jessica) Gubin, Tracy Ash, and Justin Gubin; four step grandchildren: Kody Schellin, Andrew Ash, Evan Ash, Alison Ash; his sisters: Diane Pasbrig, Janice Umland, Barb Kintopp, Debbie Kintopp, and Susie Husslein; his brother Russ (Kay) Umland and along with additional family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Toby Kintopp, and his parents Clarice Kintopp and Herman Kintopp.

I miss you so much Roger!! My heart is so broken and my spirit is crushed. It's so hard to sleep in our room. I roll over and you're not there and I know you're never going to be there (at least not in this system of things). I walk into the garage and our see our bikes and I break down. I had to cover them with a blanket. This type of pain is so unbearable!
Our 3 kitties miss you terribly. They wait at the front door for you every morning. They see your car in the driveway and I'm sure they are wondering where's our Daddy. The other day Teddie has his head in your slipper.
I went against your wishes and decided to have a funeral for you, I'm sorry. But your family and friends needed closure. And who knows, maybe if this had been me, you would have done the same.
We always talked about how even the smallest acts of love can impact others.
The house doesn't seem like a home, it feels sad and lonely.
You would be so proud of Justin! You taught him well. He's doing everything exactly like how you would do it. He's keeping the yard maintained, he's keeping the house warm. He's been cleaning the kitties litter boxes. He put a new battery in your car. He's comforting me and grieving for you. He misses you and he loved you. All of your/our family loved you and is missing you tremendously!
