Ronald R. Kroken

Ronald R. Kroken, 85, of Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Ronald was born on April 6, 1938 in Mount Morris, WI to Hans and Mildred (Greene) Kroken.  He was married to Eunice Zietlow on April 6, 1986 in Las Vegas.  Ron was a heavy equipment operator and a proud member of Operating Engineers Local 139 where he celebrated 50 years of membership in 2022.

Ron took pride in his homemade wine that was enjoyed by many of his family and friends.  He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.  Ron was a man who could fix and build anything.  Ron and Eunice traveled extensively in their RV.  His favorite trip was their traveling to Alaska.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Eunice of Beaver Dam; children: Lynn (Paula Tomashek) Kroken of Beaver Dam, Becky (Mike) Koehn of Adams, Laura (Kyle) Donnell of Hartford, Scott Kroken of New Mexico, Jeff (Judy) Kittell of Campbellsport, Keith Kittell of Oak Creek, and Lyle (Kimberly) Conley of Merrill; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; his brother Harold Kroken; his sister Sandy (Dick) Lindstrum; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Donald (Evelyn) Kroken; sister Delores Barnoske; sister-in-law Irene Kroken; and great granddaughter Charlotte.

A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Interment will take place at Hustisford Cemetery.
