Russell E. Currier, age 60, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
Russell Edward was born on June 9, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Norman and Erika Currier. He married Kristi Carlson and they had four children that they raised in Beaver Dam. Russ worked at Fromm in Mequon, where he made many friends that he considered family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was always working on a car or tinkering in his garage. Most importantly, Russ enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He fought a great fight against cancer, but we are so thankful that he is no longer suffering.
Russell is survived by his wife, Kristi; children, Jesica Currier (Paulino Selbera), Jaclyn Currier (Dustin Hoffmaster), Bryan (Elizabeth) Currier, and Jonathan Currier (Krystal Gallagher), all of Beaver Dam; adored grandchildren, Aria Peachey, Cole Benedict, Serenity and Ember Schuster, and Jaxn Hoffmaster, Sydney and Lucas Currier, Amara and Kalvin Currier; sisters, Georgia (Bob) Brunner, Diane (Rick) Bruening, Amy (Steve) Bequest, and Sandra Currier; mother-in-law, Bettyann Carlson; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a celebration of Russell’s life on Friday, December 15, 2023 at his son’s home, 110 James Street in Beaver Dam, starting at 12:00 noon.
