Ruth L. Weyer, age 94, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Lomira, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ruth will take place on Wednesday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Francis Home Chapel in Fond du Lac with Rev. Fr. James Leary presiding. Following the service, interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lomira, Wisconsin.
Ruth was born to Lawrence and Marie (Gassner) Weyer on March 20, 1931, in Lomira.
Ruth graduated from Lomira High School and Dodge County Teacher’s College. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in teaching. She taught in the Mayville School District for 35 years.
She is survived by two nieces, one nephew, dear cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira or St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac.
