Sabino S. Rigotti

June 4, 1932 - August 13, 2007

Sabino S. “Sam” Rigotti, age 75, of Beaver Dam, died on Monday, August 13, 2007 at his home, after a couragous battle with cancer.
Friends and family may call on Friday, August 17, 2007 at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 127 W. Maple St. Beaver Dam, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM with Fr. Carlos Florez officiating. Cremation will follow.
Sabino Silvio Rigotti was born on June 4, 1932, in Sporminore, Trento, Italy, the son of the late Edwardo and Angelina (Cristan) Rigotti. On March 3, 1962, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Erdmann at St. Peter”s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.
Sabino worked at the Beaver Dam Medical Center for 30 years, retiring in July of 2003. He was a great NASCAR and Brewers fan and a Green Bay Packer backer. He also enjoyed taking the tour bus to the casinos. He was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish and was an usher at St. Michael”s Catholic Church for many years. He was a wonderful father and very special Dad to Tony, Jeff and other foster children.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Rigotti of Beaver Dam, his two sons, John (Kris) Rigotti of Lomira and Joseph Rigotti of Covington, KY, foster sons, Jeff and Tony of Beaver Dam, his brother, Carl Rigotti of Sheboygan, his two sisters, Anna (Ernesto) Stefani of Canada and Antonietta Grazeidai of Italy, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sabino was preceded in death by his parents.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Sabino Rigotti”s name to the ARC Dodge County Special Olympics, Hillside Hospice or St. Katharine Drexel School.
