Shane was born to Carrie Persinger and Erik Bloohm in Fond du lac on May 3, 1994. He graduated from Mayville High School, class of 2012, and wed his high school sweetheart, Kayla N. Bloohm (nee Kempfer) at the Retlaw in Fond du lac February 8, 2020. Together they have one beautiful son, Ozzy (age 2).
He was a dedicated employee for Culligan Water Conditioning since 2013 quickly making his way from water and salt deliveries to Service Manager. Shane showed a great deal of love for his career, often clocking in extra hours to benefit the business and partaking in every Culligan retreat.
Fonzy, as he was known by his friends, was a top-notch card player and attended regular cribbage and poker nights at The Meating Place in Mayville Wisconsin. Shane enjoyed grilling and smoking meats; often showing his love for family and friends with his cooking. He also hosted many dinners, bonfires, birthday parties, and game nights prioritizing the relationships he considered most dear to him.
The light of Shane’s life was his family. Kayla and Ozzy were his top priority and most cherished loved ones. He was especially proud of how naturally Kayla took to motherhood and beamed with pride at every new accomplishment Ozzy achieved.
An instant friend to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him, Shane was charismatic, full of jokes, and never too busy for those he loved. His smile, hugs, and words of advice live on in our hearts and the memories he left behind continue to bring joy and peace to us all.
